For Liking Karaoke!

 

Yes I Love Karaoke!! My favourite singers are those who realize that it is all about FUN, and don’t take themselves too seriously! My greatest respect goes to those who couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket!! It’s hard to put yourself forward like that, when you know how painful it’s going to be!! Hopefully I can learn to apply some of the Karaoke philosophy to life in general, and learn to put myself out there a bit more and not take myself so seriously!

This invitation was created for a Karaoke evening with the “Danforth Divas” at the Gladstone Hotel. The best Karaoke in Toronto!

I admit it! I like DISCO! It’s fun, it’s silly it’s liberating! This Invitation was created for “Booty Smacker”,  a disco cover band that plays once a month in downtown Toronto. The venue attracts a huge mix of people either dressed up to the nines complete with sparkling lame, disco wigs and platform heels, or just dressed to dance in jeans and a t-shirt!

 

For Not Liking Fish!

 

OK, I do wish that I liked to eat fish…but I don’t. I have been trying to “get into it” because people who like fish seem to really like it…and I do feel like I am missing out. I have always liked fish fingers….but am told that doesn’t count. I have learned to like shrimp and mussels since having met my husband…and am proud of myself for that. And now I have discovered that I love fresh caught brook trout, salted with fresh lime…so who knows, I may just make it after all.
